Salim Aydemir worked at Turkish Competition Authority (TCA) as case handler, coordinator (responsible from secondary legislation) and chief legal counsel for more than 15 years. He conducted and supervised antitrust investigations and cases regarding M&A’s and exemptions; represented the TCA before the courts, led the legal team and coordinated the court cases. He played an effective role in drafting substantial number of the secondary legislation (regulations and guidelines) issued by the TCA. He participated in various domestic and international conferences and programs as speaker and instructor on competition law related subjects. He provides consultancy services to domestic and international clients on as of Counsel at Midas Consultancy.
Salim Aydemir graduated from Ankara University Law Faculty and Middle East Technical University departments of Economics and Mathematics (double major) and received M.Phil degree on Economics at Tilburg University. He is fluent in English.
